Extreme Thumbnail Generator is a software tool for Microsoft Windows that allows you to make beautiful web photo albums with just a few mouse clicks. And you do not have to know anything about HTML or image processing - just let the software know where to find your photos and where to save all album files!

STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL

You can download Extreme Thumbnail Generator here. The file name is etg_setup.exe and its size is 3 MB, so it will not take you long to download.

After downloading run the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to install Extreme Thumbnail Generator.

STEP 2 - SELECT PHOTOS

Run the installed photo album maker from Windows Start menu or using the desktop icon. Extreme Thumbnail Generator will automatically create a new empty project for you. Now you can add photos to your web album.

Extreme Thumbnail Generator offers several ways to add photos:

• button allows you to select and add individual photos to the project.

• button allows you to add all photos from any folder.

• Or simply drag-and-drop photos from Windows Explorer right into the image list

After all photos are added click Next button to proceed to the next step. Below is the screenshot of Extreme Thumbnail Generator after several pohotos were added to the album.

STEP 3 - SELECT WEB PHOTO ALBUM TEMPLATE

Extreme Thumbnail Generator comes with redy-to-use built-in web photo album templates. When you select a template in the list, a small preview of your future album is displayed. Also on this step you can change the Save gallery to folder - the folder on your hard disk where all album files are saved.

Click Next button to proceed to the next step.

STEP 4 - ALBUM SETTINGS

It is absolutely safe to skip this step for your first album - the default settings are just fine. But if you want, you can easily change the size and appearance of thumbnails and full-size images, add custom text to all pages, add logo to all photos and perform much more customization using the album settings. You can even use EXIF information on any album pages automatically.

Click Next button to proceed to the next step.

STEP 5 - GENERATE THE ALBUM

OK, you are now one click away from your own web photo album. Simply click the Generate button and let Extreme Thumbnail Generator do the rest of work for you!

That's all! Your photo album is ready and saved to your hard disk. You can now view it in your default web browser - just click the View button. If you like what you see in the web browser and want to upload your photo album to the web site via FTP, then click Publish via FTP... button to proceed to the next step.

STEP 6 - UPLOAD PHOTO ALBUM TO SERVER VIA FTP

When you first time click the Publish via FTP button and open the Gallery Publisher, you will be asked to create a new FTP profile. Extreme Thumbnail Generator uses FTP profiles to connect to remote FTP servers. So you should enter FTP address of your server, your user name and password.

After your new FTP profile is created you can enter into the Gallery folder on server field the name of the folder on your server where the photo album must be uploaded. Now click the Start button and Extreme Thumbnail Generator will upload all the files of your photo album to the web site!
